Nov 2024 - PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! Grant

• A $1,500 grant awarded by the National PTA, The PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! program is a collaboration between the National PTA and AT&T, will help families, parents, and caregivers navigate these challenges through meaningful peer-to-peer discussions about screen readiness and ways to promote healthy and responsible device use for all members of the family.

Dec 2024 - Ready, Tech, Go!: Technology Award Package

• We are thrilled to share that, in addition to the $1,500 grant awarded to the Floral Park-Bellerose PTA for the PTA Connected: Ready, Tech, Go! program, our PTA has also been selected to receive a Ready, Tech, Go! Technology Award Package from the National PTA!
   
  This technology package is designed to help eliminate barriers and ensure equitable access for all participants in our upcoming program. It will provide valuable tools to support effective implementation and engagement during our event, which will focus on promoting screen readiness, digital safety, and healthy technology use within our families.
   
  The package includes:

  1 Mouse and Keyboard
  1 Projector
  1 Projector Screen
  1 Color Printer with Paper and Ink
  1 Sound System/Speakers
  1 Scanner
