President’s Message:

October was a busy month with back-to-back events hosted by the PTA! All of which were very successful, from our Bake Sale, Picture Day, Kindness Cart, Movie Night, Book Fair, Halloween Party, Teal Pumpkin event, etc. We honored Principal, Mr. Dekams, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Stegmeier, for Principal Appreciation Month & was recognized by the New York State PTA with the Early Bird Award, for having 50% of our PTA Memberships by the end of September. We’re looking forward to more exciting things in the month of November, one of which will be our School of Excellence Share Out, New Merch, and our Budget Vote at our Next PTA Meeting, accompanied by the Floral Park Library Librarian, Kathy Guidal as our Guest Speaker. As you can see, your PTA Membership goes a long way in supporting the school and community that every child benefits from, so be sure to become a PTA Member, if you have not done so already. Thank you!

Announcements	PTA Meetings
Volunteers - As always, we need volunteers to help with every event for the month. If you’re interested in helping, please reach out to us.	Please join our meetings, where we discuss upcoming events and Mr. Dekams shares updates concerning our school and students. We plan to vote on this year’s budget, listen to Guest Speaker Kathy Guidal, a raffle prize, and serve light refreshments. As always, a zoom link is available on our website if you’re unable to make it in person.

November FPBS Events

PTA Meeting – Come and enjoy our third PTA Meeting of the school year, where we vote on our budget, listen to Guest Speaker Kathy Guidal from the Floral Park Library, giveaway a raffle prize, discuss details of upcoming events, and serve light refreshments.

When: Tuesday, November 14th, 7pm

Where: In the Library of the FPBS

If you are interested in attending but can’t make it in person, there will be a Zoom option as well.
