October Newsletter

President’s Message:

The first month of the school year started off amazing! While we had a few successful events, we were disappointed the Back to School Picnic was postponed due to the weather. However, look forward to something great that will take place at a later date! We introduced our wonderful Board Members at our first PTA Meeting with guest speaker Bellerose Village Mayor, Hon. Kenneth Moore, and was welcomed by our Principal, Mr. DeKams, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Stegmeier. We’re looking forward to more exciting things in the month of October, one of which will be our School of Excellence submission into the National PTA. We appreciate and are looking forward to your continuous support. Thank you!

Announcements	PTA Meetings
Volunteers – We need volunteers to help with the PTA Meeting, Movie Night, Book Fair, and Halloween Party. Please reach out to fpbspta@gmail.com if interested!	PTA Meetings- Please join our meetings! We discuss upcoming events and Mr. DeKams shares updates concerning our school and students. We plan to discuss this school year’s budget, have two raffle prizes, and serve light refreshments. A zoom link is available on our website.

October FPBS Events

PTA Meeting – Come and enjoy our second PTA Meeting of the school year, where we will discuss our budget, giveaway two raffle prizes, discuss details of upcoming events, and serve light refreshments.

When: Monday, October 16th, 7PM

Where: In the Library of the FPBS and on Zoom

Halloween Party – On Oct. 27th, we will host our annual Halloween Party on the field behind the school. Come out and enjoy this event and don’t forget to stop by our PTA table and tent!
